A 5200 sq. ft. boutique hotel located in the heart of Varanasi’s prime hospitality district, designed to offer an exclusive and memorable stay experience.

The Ask

The client wanted the hotel’s design to reflect the essence and cultural spirit of Varanasi, capturing the city’s timeless charm and vibrant heritage.

The Result

Since the hotel was named “36 Avenue,” the design concept was envisioned around the theme “36 Reasons to Fall in Love with Varanasi.” The idea was to let every corner subtly narrate a story of the city’s timeless charm.

Rather than altering the architectural structure, the focus was on styling elements that beautifully captured the essence of Varanasi. Thoughtful touches like a chai stall corner, Banarasi fabrics used in décor, and artworks inspired by the ghats and daily life of the city were incorporated, creating an atmosphere that celebrates Varanasi’s vibrant culture in a refined, contemporary way.
