The client wanted the hotel's design to reflect the essence and cultural spirit of Varanasi, capturing the city's timeless charm and vibrant heritage.
Since the hotel was named "36 Avenue," the design concept was envisioned around the theme "36 Reasons to Fall in Love with Varanasi" — letting every corner subtly narrate a story of the city's timeless charm.
Rather than altering the architectural structure, the focus was on styling elements that captured Varanasi's essence — a chai stall corner, Banarasi fabrics used in décor, and artwork inspired by the ghats and daily life of the city, celebrating the city's vibrant culture in a refined, contemporary way.
